| Posted 2 months ago When I feel like things aren't going the way I think they should be, I certainly do question myself as to how I got to where I am or why I'm not where I think I should be. Honestly though, I would not change anything that has happened in my life. I am happier with my life over-all that changing something that has already happened (if it were possible) would probably take me down a different path than the one I'm on now and I can't imagine that. | Posted 2 months ago MekaRevell, Anyone with good sense would do well to contemplate the "why's" and "how's" of life. I've never believed that things "just happen"; like KatS said, "everything happens for a reason". You are a co-creator of your destiny. If the "here" that you are in is not where you wanna be, contemplate and make plans for forward thinking and forward moving. So, look forward to moving forward! | Posted 2 months ago I believe in what someone once said that 'Life is what happens to you when you are busy making other plans'.It totally stands true in my case.I never planned to be where I am in life at this point. So am totally clueless as to how I got here...but I guess destiny is what brings us to where we are,we cant control it,the only thing that we can do is accept, move on,work hard and most importantly be true to ourselves. Re-enlightenment is in the realization of the fact that we have only the present moment to live. |

| Posted 2 months ago In the larger picture, I'm where I planned to be - married to my husband for 23 years, 2 children, the profession I dreamed of in middle school, plus the probability of adding some teaching in the fall (my elementary school dream). It's the details that surprised me - where we are living, having kids with disabilities (wasn't ready for that!), the friends that I've acquired, certain developments in my spiritual life. Jane G. | Posted 2 months ago I cannot change the past, however I can control what happens in the future. Life is a school, we learn everyday and we are capable of making decisions that will have far reaching effects on our lives in the future; so I deal with the here and now, and its implications for tomorrow. |
