Posted about 1 month ago A friend sent this to me this morning...how true! Natural Highs Falling in love Laughing so hard your face hurts A hot shower No lines at the supermarket Getting mail (not bills) Taking a drive on a pretty road Hot towels fresh out of the dryer A bubble bath Finding 20 bucks in your coat from last winter Laughing at yourself Looking into their eyes and knowing they love you Running through sprinklers Having someone tell you that you are beautiful Laughing at an inside joke with friends Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep Your first kiss Having someone play with your hair Playing with a new puppy Watching the sunrise Knowing someone misses you Getting out of bed each day and being grateful for another beautiful day Knowing you've done the done right thing no matter what other people think. It's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think you're not. - Unknown |

| Posted about 1 month ago A naturally high for me is, spending time with the grandchildren. When I am spending I get to experience most of those natural highs already mentioned, such as laughing so hard that your face feels like it's going to fall off. I even llaugh at some of the things they do or say even when they are not around. Sometimes I have to call other people to update them on the activities of my grandchildren. And some of the things they do are just down right sweet. They learn so quickly and easily. My four year old has me laughing and crying at the same time, most of the time. I recently informed him that I would praying every evening at 7:00 p.m. and he says that wants to pray with me. Well I thought that at the very least this would be interesting having a four year old boy as a prayer partner. So I called him at 7:00 I started with the Lord's Prayer, he said amen and proceeded to try to tell me about his toys. I explained that I'm not done, he said yes you are grandma I already said amen. hahahaha! Then I told him that I am going to pray for fifteen minutes and he said 0h, and hung up the phone. I called him the following night and asked if he was ready to pray, he said, AGAIN!! Well I could go on and on but I'll end it here. Thank you. |
