Mine was in college. MY BF and I decided to go skiing. He was skilled at the sport, but I was a novice. Once I managed to get off the ski lift, I proceeded down the hill. Beaming with pride that I remained upright down the hill, I landed face up under the legs of a ski instructor who was teaching little kids the basics. To make matters worse, the instructor was drop dead gorgeous and I was red as a beet.

 My BF and I never went sking again. Instead, we chose hiking, which is hard to mess up.
