What is your Favorite Coffee Shop?

Posted 6 months ago I know how popular Starbucks and Dutch Bros are around here but I must admit they are not the best. My favorites of all time would have to be Bad Ass Coffee and The Human Bean. Where does your brand loyalty lie?

| Posted 6 months ago My favorite is "Brown Bean Coffee Shop". Great place to sit and read, work and visit and their Chai tea is far better than Starbucks. Jean Bentley

Posted 6 months ago We have one here called Red Roaster that roasts their own beans. I pass it by frequently but never have the time to go in. I've heard it's great, so I'm going to have to go in one day now so that I can tell you about it!

Posted 6 months ago I don't know one by name, but I have a special place in my heart for small, privately owned coffee shops. They just give me a warm fill for a classic, organic, prime, coffee environment --and strangely enough, I always seem to like the coffee better, too~ ~Most of the shadows of this life are caused by our standing in our own sunshine.*

Posted 5 months ago There is one here in San Diego called "City Coffee". The owner gets fair trade organic beans and roasts them himself. He cleans his machines often and the coffee is never bitter. The atmosphere is quite eclectic which fits into the small beach community we are in. Although he always has great music playing, he often gets local bands to have a show there. I will have to say, he beats out StarBucks hands down!

Posted 5 months ago I don't like Starbucks coffee; it tastes burnt to me. If I am in a rush I'll grab, a cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee, but I prefer to brew Gevalia at home. Donna Life is short. Embrace your friends and family with love.

Posted 5 months ago well, there's this tiny coffee shop over in San Diego that's awsome..... the coffee is excellent. There used to be an outstanding coffee outfit up in Oceanside that was called The Motorcycle Cafe, which turned into Pacific Coffee House... and now its something else... and ive not tried it since it changed hands. Ha! it still has nothing on that little coffee shop in San Diego..... ha! someone mentioned it already... its "City Coffee". (couldnt remember the name of it)

Posted 4 months ago I had to laugh when a young "barrista" at Starbucks was saying he didn't understand what all the commotion was over kona -- he'd had it and didn't think it was very special -- I told him it was because all the beans at Starbucks were burnt -- so -- he still had never had kona. The absolute very best coffee I've had was in alittle shop in Old Towne Alexandria, VA -- in a coffee shop called "misha's". It's a very unassuming place -- with all sorts of great beans - newspapers from all over laying around for you to read -- and plain folks -- just enjoying their day and personal fav coffee drink.

Posted 3 months ago I definitely agree with all of you who said Starbucks isn't the best. Their beans are definitely over-roasted, but I think it takes exposure to a wide variety of coffees to be able to tell. I can't stand Gevalia, either; I don't think their varieties are bold enough. One of my all-time favourites has to be the Tully's chain, also based in Seattle. Pegasus is also great, as is Caribou!

| Posted 3 months ago Starbucks used to be the fav. But I am beginning to become a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf lover. Also, there is this little coffee shop in Burbank named Percillas, so cute and old charming adorable. "Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life."

Posted 3 months ago I have to admit I don't love coffee. I love Cafe Mochas. Starbucks has a an okay one, and Panera's has a great one, but neither offers the comfortable environment that Aromas offers in Newport News, VA. It is really nice. Check out their website, http://www.aromasworld.com/. Maybe you will get ther in this lifetime.

Posted about 1 month ago Wow. I love Bad Ass Coffee and Seattle's Best. There's also a chain in Seattle called Tully's that makes a nice brew too. But by and large Le Chateau de Knight makes THE ABSOLUTE BEST coffee around. sknight
