I cant be the ONLY girl addicted to this game, I mean SOMEONE out there must love to swing a sword or cast a spell on SOMEONE!

Since I'm a poor kid, I take the free alternative - Flyff. It's a game that you download onto your computer and play that's similar to WoW, but for free. It has some lag if you get on server 1, but if you get on different servers the lag is a bit less. It's a lot like WoW, I hear - you level, are parts of guilds, fight monster, have classes, fight other players, and a lot of other things. Personally, I love it mostly because it's free. The broken English, though, is hilarious.

You should join and play with me, since we seem to post on the same boards a lot. =]

I am also a WoW addict.  I'm a single mom with little extra money, and no available sitters right now, so it's my form of "unwinding".  Plus, when things really irritate me, I can go kill a bunch of monsters or Allies and be sweet and kind to the rest of the world.  :)

I'm not a WoW addict, but I love to play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. There's a lot of quests on it, which you can do or you can ignore, but getting on up there in a guild gives me a sense of accomplishment. The graphics are great, and there isn't a lag at all. You just don't go online and play. Great game...just be sure to get the Game of the Year edition if you do get it.

I"m addicted.

I've been playing MMORPGS since I was in highschool starting with everquest . It's a great way to keep from yelling at my friends and family when I am stressed out from whatever.

WoW has saved my sanity during this spell of unemployment.  I rolled a pally for the first time, have usually been a spellcaster; It's great to know that a pew pew here and there are available whenever my stress level goes over the top.  The only problem now is that we (hubby and I) have to wait until I get a job to buy WOTLK.  But we may roll a death knight or two in the meantime!

We actually stopped for a bit and tried Warhammer....but it was just not the same!  WoW FTW!!

Hehe, I figured there would be SOMETHING about World of Warcraft on the gamer forums!  I have been playing since the game came out, I was recently in the WOTLK Beta, and I now play it live.  I have a 73 Night Elf Druid (Soon to be 74), a 70 Human Warrior, and a 45 Human Warlock.  I plan to make a DK once my druid hits 80.  I am on the Lightning's Blade server :)

Lorie - I played in the Warhammer beta also!  It was fun but nothing like Wrath!  Blizzard really knows how to reel in and keep their customers!
