I'm really enjoying Fly Leaf right now. They are a christian rock band but like LauraS says... who knew?  If you really listen to the lyrics you can hear the references to god AND they really rock out. . Awesome band!  The lead singer a little bitty thing but boy does she have a powerful voice!

My favorite band of late is Puddle of Mudd.  There's some kinda sexxxxxxxy in that lead singer's voice.

It is between Godsmack and Disturbed.  My only problem is when they do come on the radio, it seems my gas pedal has a mind of its own and I am driving with the music .

I just found out that the lead singer of Tool (James Maynard Keenan) has a side project that he is doing called Puscifier, so far it is COMPLETELY different from what he does in both TOOL and A Perfect Circle, to me he is like Billy from Smashing Pumpkins; anything he touches turns to gold!  Also, did you know he owns his own winery/vineyard?  His wine label is called Caduceis I might have to check it out.  I read his wikipedia biography and he sounds like a very interesting dude!

My taste in music varies so much, although I rarely listen to anything new so I would have to say (brace yourself you wouldn't guess this about me)   K.I.S.S.

Just a few weeks ago I figured out how to stream my favorite radio station from back home.  Imagine my surprise when my favorite singer/band leader was the DJ.  Michael Stanley (band)'s voice came through the computer and just took me back 25 years.  I listen all the time now and even dug out my old MSB cd to play in the car.  It's amazing how music can trigger things in your memory.  In this case, all good!

I hear ya Sarah.  My music collection is huge.  I listen to music way more than I watch TV.  I listen to a variety too, from Elvis, Barry Manilow, Sugarland, you name it.

There was this song that I have heard on the radio (just half way through so I dont get the name or on a show that does not show the name) well my husband found it!  Its from a band called AFI and its called Miss Murder!  My husband saw the video and he asked me what the guy was dressed in and I told him "oh honey he is a goth, people call it emo now adays but back in MY day it was a goth" he asked how I knew and I told him "well you do not walk around wearing black all your life and get stereotyped as something without 'noticing' the signs of the REAL DEAL!

Kid Rock has been running through my mind at the moment.  I went to see him in August and his new stuff is not half bad.  Not a big fan of coutnry but he always keeps a twist of rock and rap in his music which is awesome.  That song "All Summer Long" is pretty addictive but I am a big Skynrd fan anyway.  My roots are always the 90's grunge bands.  STP, Nirvana, deftones, etc.  My husband has gotten me into Breaking Benjamin and Modest Mouse right now.  Still love Joan Jett and Pat Benatar too!  I am all over the place with my musical tastes...depends on what mood I'm in.

Keep Rocking!

Oh, my goodness, Lynnard Skynard (Sweet Home Alabama), Joan Jett, and Pat Benatar (We Belong, We Are Young, Love is a Battlefield)....really takes me back.  Sweet Home Alabama is one of my favs.  Of course, I'm also a strong Bob Dylan fan.  I haven't heard anything he's done yet that I didn't like, except when he sang live a few years ago.  His voice is not what it used to be, I'm afraid.  But his music has always been awesome.

I'm really into soft guitar currently, my favorite for that I would have to say is the upcoming she and him. The lyrics are powerful and worth listening to. Check them out if you like softer music.
