We're going to be moving next week. I was wondering what the best way to take care of the baby during this process. Should i find a sitter or just keep him in the new apartment, but not in the way, while we move the furniture in.?  I am not sure of what is the right thing to do... We don't have much, so with both my husband and i unloading the uhaul it won't take long at all. Also, should i set the nursery up first or the rest of the house?

thank you for any advice.

When we moved with a baby, the nursery was the first thing to be set up.  I would hire a baby sitter, it will give you piece of mind.   I would not want to leave the baby alone  while me and my husband were bringing in the furnature, etc.

I agree that a sitter would be invaluable. If you are moving to an area where you do not know any sitters, ask a family member to sit during the day when you will be in and out of the house. Good luck.

Take your time getting your new place in order. Hire a sitter to watch the baby so you won't be distracted. You'll be able to relax knowing your baby is in goods hands while you deal with the chaos of moving.

Good luck!
