Does he or she really need another tool???
Posted about 1 month ago Here's the question: Does the person in your life, husband, partner, girlfriend, boyfriend really need another tool?? How many drills, screwdrivers, saws does a person need?? And, with all those toys does anything really get done around the house or yard?? My partner loves tools, loves them!! If there isn't a 12volt, automatic, two handled thingy wrapped up for her birthday or at Christmas, ladies I get that look. You know the look, the one eye or both eyes peering at you as if you have lost your mind. So how about you all - tag your it

| Posted about 1 month ago I love, love, love being the one to get my finance' that new tool that he has been eye-balling. Just recently his oldest daughter left the garage door open and all his tools got stolen. So, I guess we'll be buying everything all over again but that's ok because he deserves the best and had not spent the right amount on his tools. We'll fix that though. I would imagine that his "need" for more tools (regardless of how many he may or may not already have) is much like our "need" for a new pair of shoes. LOL Need Breeds Ingenuity!

| Posted about 1 month ago Kat, you put it into words well. Do we ladies really "need" that 3rd pair of black pumps? No. Want? Totally. Tools, I think, are like shoes and techy things. Sometimes you -- or your partner, friend, whomever -- just want the latest version out there! Anna H.

| Posted about 1 month ago Ask my husband, who buys two of everything just in case. I remember donating a lot of new tools to our friends before we moved. I buy more than one pair of socks or the backless slippers because I have small feet and the stores do not stock a large inventory of the smaller sizes. |

| Posted about 1 month ago Hi stgreg11. You know I wish I bought like you and your hsband two of whatI really like. But I just by the one, then about a week later I think, "Man I should go back and get another pair or more" But I don't, then I regret it. Then again, I have bought two of something, got it home and was dissapointed. Now I have to return both, no big deal, but apparently I'm challenged in this area. That was a nice thing to donate the tools to friends before you moved. Thumbs up!!

Actually it is a "need." I'd have withdrawals if I didn't have them, lol. I'm just kidding. My husband is a tool freak. Maybe they don't technically "need" another tool, but if it makes him happy, then I'm all for it (within reason - I wouldn't want to have to deal with someone breaking the bank to buy tools.) Remember there are worse destructive addictions. In the realm of it all, this one seems a bit harmless. | Posted 12 days ago Everytime we go to Costco, my husband just has to look at all the tools and any sports equipment. He has tools that I don't think he has even used. But then, I also have a closet full of purses! June Sockol
