Palin's email hacked

Posted 2 months ago It is being reported that someone has hacked into Sarah Palin's personal email account. Does anyone have an opinion about that, regardless of their alliances? "What you do for yourself - any gesture of kindness, any gesture of gentleness, any gesture of honesty and clear seeing toward yourself - will affect how you experience your world. In fact, it will transform how you experience the world. What you do for yourself, you're doing for others, and what you do for others, you're doing for yourself." |

| Posted 2 months ago Whoever hacked her email should be brought to justice. However, a person in her position should know better than to write something in an email that could be compromising personally or professionally. Although email is a vehicle of communication, one should be cautious of the communication since it is information that can be hacked at anytime. |

| Posted 2 months ago I think that is absurd. The example they are giving as a smear attempt is ridiculous - I have friends at work who email me at my personal email account, as our conversations are just that - personal. Usually places of work discourage you from using your work email for personal conversations. These candidates are still people and still allowed to have friends, regardly of party, right? And, WHY ARE WE REWARDING CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR??? The media is encouraging this type of action. I'm getting really sickened by all the BS that is being thrown out there in an attempt to sway people one way or another. How about we get to the debates and let everyone have a fair ground to play on, no matter what their party? No interviewing only certain people and only focusing on them, no editing to take answers out of context, no barring people from participating because they're not from the 2 main parties, etc. An old-fashioned, gloves-off, unscripted, FAIR debate, hosted by someone other than a media personality, so we know where people really stand and what their answers are under pressure, not changing them to target a certain audience. In fact, how about no audience to cheer their answers after they give them, either. Just a debate and a checklist in the background showing the issues, where the candidates agree and where they don't and then a detailed file posted after the debate on their specific answers, with a transcript, so things can't be taken out of context. The amount of money being raised is absurd, as well. We have financial issues in this country, and I don't see any fundraisers this big to help those affected by the recent hurricanes or to save AIG, etc., but somehow millions are raised to throw away on advertising. Where are our priorities? This shouldn't be about who can buy their way to Presidency. Isn't there a checkbox when I file my tax return, asking if I want to donate $1 to campaign spending? How about the candidates are only allowed to use the money that people donate from that and split it equally between all candidates. That would promote smarter, creative spending by our soon to be President and would require candidates to get down in the trenches more with everyday people and let them know who they are (and get to know the people and their needs in return), not just show up in certain towns for a show. Now that would be a change. Sorry - so tired of the gossip-column drama, just want to get down to business already! |

| Posted 2 months ago From what is reported, it was her personal email that was hacked into, and posted on the internet. There was nothing compromising personally/professionally.

| Posted 2 months ago Personally I think everything is getting out of hand. When I hear stories about hackers and identity theft it makes my skin crawl. Bluefly44 - I have to agree by saying all of this back and forth during the election is EXHAUSTING. I don't care about press, I don't care about political strategists, I just want to hear it from the horse's mouth. I for one cannot WAIT until the debates begin. It's not who you are that holds you back. It's who you think you're not. - Unknown |

| Posted 2 months ago Personally I think it is a terrible invasion of her privacy and a real, real dirty trick to try and find something to attack her or her family with. The real truth is that if Obama had not done the same dirty tricks against his previous opponent when he was running for office he would never have been elected. This is apparently one of his supporters dirty tricks. This just really shows how low down and dirty the main stream media and the liberal press has become. To try an discredit her and her Christian faith could be seen as a "blessing" ............even the "religeous" ones crucified Christ............the liberal press and the liberal democrats are really "out for blood" and this really does show their true colors. | Posted 2 months ago To hack into someone's mail, regardless of stature, is just plain wrong. I don't care who did it or what the intentions of it was. They and any of their accomplices should be brought to justice. While I appreciate the media pointing out once again that our email is not as secure as we would like it, I would appreciate if they kept anything that was in her email confidential. They are just as guilty for spreading any of its content, and therefore would be considered an accomplice in my mind. They should be persecuted. Insanitek: Powered by Creative Minds. |
