I'm in Louisiana still living with my parents.  I'll be very glad when I get back on my feet for sure.  I've applied for a few jobs but really am wanting to work for the sherriff's dept. so I'm waiting on the back ground checks to go through.  I may try a temp service just to get some money flowing.  I don't want anything perm. as I'll have to leave as soon as the sherriff's dept calls me. 

Hubby still hasn't sent me the paperwork to sign for the divorce, but has finally set up an alotment so I'll start getting some kind of money October 1st.  He's being very stingy with the money so far which has made it that much harder to get on my feet.  He and his girl friend broke up I'm being told, he did move her into the house only 1 week after he moved me out!  The hurt is still there and I still have moments that I have to take deep breaths to make it through but all in all I'm doing okay with it all.  I'm ready to move on and get a life started for me and the youngest daughter, actually more than ready LOL

Tabby (my youngest) is adjusting wonderfully.  She is making friends at school, coming home happy and telling stories of her day and my anti sports kid wants a seasons pass to the football games!!  She also is taking drama and is already being slated to work costumes and set design as well.  The drama teacher (who taught me when I was in high school) said that Tabby has some major natural talent in all aspects of art and she's going to put all that creativity to work.  I'm just so glad she is finally happy and happier even than she was in Florida!!

That's pretty much it for the moment, just wanted to let yall know that I hadn't fallen off the ends of the earth :)  Mom and dad are specialized foster parents and have a very cute new baby that I've been helping out a lot with so between that and dad keeping me busy (they know I don't need to just sit LOL) I don't have much time for anything else.  But I'll get back on hopefully in the next few weeks full time, well as full I can be working LOL

Hey Laurie, I was thinking about you the other day and I am soooooooo happy that things are going as well as they are.  I hope all turns out like you hope.  Keep us posted.  Take care and good luck!  EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON (I will never get tired of saying that).
