| Posted 2 months ago Boy, am I peevish Is is some kind of macho thing to think the world is your spitoon? (stop at light, open car door, spit on the street) Gum popping is right up there with chewing with your mouth open (agreed, Kat!) All the political ads (especially the negative ones) we will have to suffer through til November. | Posted 2 months ago People who DON'T return the shopping cart to the store or the cart return People who wait in front of the store in the fire lane People who block the entire aisle so they can talk to their friend/talk on their cell People who walk in front of you when you are reading or looking at something and don't say excuse me (even my 3yr old says excuse me) People who pull away from my son when he tries to hold their hand...he's not toxic People who don't listen as much as they talk Yep...I've given this way too much thought :). Really though, only pulling away from my boy really bugs me, all the other stuff...well, it's a toss up some of them do really annoy. :) <breathes deeply and let's it all go>

| Posted 2 months ago This is going to be a popular discussion.
I have a lot more pet peeves than I realized. The bad part is I could list more. (toothpaste left in the sink) etc...... I have to exercise tolerance people!!!! "What you do for yourself - any gesture of kindness, any gesture of gentleness, any gesture of honesty and clear seeing toward yourself - will affect how you experience your world. In fact, it will transform how you experience the world. What you do for yourself, you're doing for others, and what you do for others, you're doing for yourself." |

| Posted 2 months ago 1. Picking your nose- I had a professor who did this in front of the class every day. I didn't even want to touch the papers he returned. Ugh! 2. Rude people- Some go out of their way to be obnoxious. 3. Weavers- Drivers who cut in and out of traffic and endanger other drivers. 4. Nasty customer services reps- Those who have an attitude as soon as they answer the phone. 5. People who think it is funny to belch on purpose in public. 6. Phony people-Those who believe they are better than everyone else. |

O.K. Kats, I'm owning them. Where's more of yours? | Posted 2 months ago You wonder why men check their parts like that in public. Maybe they think it is lost? I had a principal who would make this move before every teacher meeting. It was so funny to watch. * I had a bio teacher who would start each sentence with, "We find...". It was annoying so we started to count how many times she said the phrase in each class. One day she caught us and was not pleased. |

| Posted 2 months ago The one that I really get annoyed with the most is when anyone accuses a woman of having PMS. Haven't they ever thought that they deserved a good slap in the face, verbally or physically? I hate that. Insanitek: Powered by Creative Minds. |

| Posted 2 months ago Keep in mind I'm talkin abt ppl who know better and don't have any sort of mental/physical problem. Please disregard my spelling errors, I'm doing this 4rm my blackberry. 1) A particular man who I worked w/ that picked his boogies as if I had no periphial vision. Then, he'd proceed to wiping it under his desk/chair/pants or pretend he was JUST biting his fingernails. 2) People who walk/sit so slumped over that it's obvious to everyone. (Although I do have some compassion for them, I know it's a confidence thing.) 3) People who let syliva gather all over their lips & at the corners of their mouths. Uggh and the dried spit at the corners of their mouths. Lick your lips, wipe it, suck it back in people. I don't need these gross distractions! 4) Spoiled brats and the parents who let them run all over them. (I have kids.) 5) Snobby Ppl 6) Rude Ppl 7) Roomate or hubby who doesn't split the housework and leaves piles of crap everwhere. 8) Parents who give their (teens or older) everything w/ no financial responsibility. 9) Ignorance (don't believe everything u hear ppl) 10) Racism ~“I love debate. | Posted 2 months ago Watchnstarz you hit the nail on the head with the "Let's do it comment!" My marriage has been on the rocks for a few years and that's his solution. How fricking romantic, even if we weren't on the rocks. People who talk loud so everyone within a 5 mile radius can hear your conversation which goes along with Having to be the center of attention even if you don't know what you are talking about. Men who think they know what women are going through/feeling (Tom Cruise big example here and male OB/GYN's) People who live like pigs and let their crap spill out on their yard Tailgating, get off my ass already, or at least intruduce yourself! Not being able to charge the doctor for your time. If you spend 3 hours waiting to see them for your previously scheduled appointment, you should be able to bill it back. Yeah, I can see how this list could go on forever. Great topic! Cindy Stand for something or else you will fall for anything |

| Posted 2 months ago I agree with many of those listed and can only add this right now: People who are always late, showing disrespect for my time. Your time is NOT more valuable then mine. I had a boss who took pride in it. She said hey I'm Greek, we are always late for everything...and she was, on purpose, even when I scheduled her a half hour ahead for things, she would be another 30 minutes late. I have caught her sitting outside in her SUV waiting to come in knowing full well that her clients have been in the office waiting for her. Diabolical. |

| Posted 2 months ago Oh lord, my sweet reputation on womenco is about to go down the drain now. I have MANY pet peeves, and will probably forget most of them half way through this list.
As you can probably tell by now, I have a lot of pet peeves. I need to breathe because I’m getting mad just thinking about some of this stuff.
I can go on and on, but I think yall get the point. LOL.

| Posted 2 months ago The fact that it isn't a law (at least in TX) to wear your helmet when you're riding/driving a motorcycle, and that people actually DON'T wear their helmets when riding/driving. Peoples' heads have been decapitated as a result of motorcycle accidents - which shows you how bad it could be! If you're gonna do something so dangerous -TAKE PRECAUTIONS. You are showing total disregard for yourself and your loved ones when you don't wear a helmet!! OK Done...obviously this is my biggest pet peeve! ~“I love debate. The only thing I would add is people talking on their cell phone while at a register and the reverse the cashier talking to someone else in the store while she's or he is ringing up your purchase. Jean Bentley

LOL...well at least I know that I'm not just a bad mother, because that irritates me. Then I have to call him several times before he will come see what I want...or say "let me finish this round on my game, and then I'll be in there."...WTF...let me tell him that, and he's livid! LOL My current male boss does that ALL the time, and it drives me nuts too...and then wants to shake someones hand...all I can think is 'no don't do it, you don't know what he was just doing with that hand.' LOL.... oh yes, the one who has to have it worse than EVERYBODY. I haven't been feeling well, and my aunt asked how I was feeling..I told her I wasn't 100% that my stomach still hurt real bad...she goes on to tell me about every health issues she had, has and will ever had. And how her stomach hurts too...and she has a migraine...and she got this issue and that issue...Heck after hearing all that I didn't feel the need to complain about my pains anymore. I was like why ask...if you wanted to really tell me all your issues. LOL.... Ms. Antoinette M. Brown I am a divine original fashioned by God to be radiantly beautiful! | Posted 2 months ago Wow- I am getting sort of angry reading all this! Funny- but even reading it can be vicariously frustrating!
Again, these are pet peeves- slightly annoying. I also have major annoyances that surpass the ranking of "pet peeves"- the obvious ones like: discrimination, intolerance, violence, etc etc etc... Surprisingly, writing that all was cathartic instead of anxiety producing! Korina Anja |

| Posted 2 months ago Antoinette, Girl, you have me rolling on the floor. I didn't know you could be allergic to butts. My hand needs to stop shaking from laughing so I can write. I thought of one more that I just have to say: Don't be scratching off lottery tickets at the counter of a convenience store with me standing behind you waiting to pay. "What you do for yourself - any gesture of kindness, any gesture of gentleness, any gesture of honesty and clear seeing toward yourself - will affect how you experience your world.
