Boy, am I peevish. How about--

Is is some kind of macho thing to think the world is your spitoon? (stop at light, open car door, spit on the street)

Gum popping is right up there with chewing with your mouth open (agreed, Kat!)

All the political ads (especially the negative ones) we will have to suffer through til November.

This is going to be a popular discussion.

1. Someone blowing their nose at the table in a restaurant.


2. Drinking tea with the spoon still in it / having to hold it to keep from poking their eye out.


3. A car parking too close and opening their door into another without a thought.


4. Putting the toilet paper on wrong-Everybody knows it goes over the top!


5. Leaving the toilet lid up.


6. Someone texting at the table the whole time while everybody else is eating and talking to each other. 


7. Changing the tv channel in the middle of a show I'm watching.


8. Knowing someone is talking on the phone to you while they are on the Commode. Please.....                                                             


9. Filthy language in front of children.

I  have a lot more pet peeves than I realized.  The bad part is I could list more.  (toothpaste left in the sink) etc......      I have to exercise tolerance people!!!!

• Men adjusting themselves in public / Scratching themselves in public.


• Watching women in public restrooms leave without washing their hands.  Usually back to their EATING table.


• Knowing men think that the "shake method" of peeing is their way of drying off.  Do they wash their hands?!


• Doctors double or triple booking patients and knowing before you go that it is going to be all day.


• Husbands saying "Do you want to Do it? and wondering why you have a headache.


• Stepping in Dog Doo.


• Leaving dirty dishes in the sink.


• Leaving your clothes in the floor.


• A smart ass teenager


• A smart ass grown-up


• Leaving hair caught in the shower drain----Oh, I really hate that one.

The one that I really get annoyed with the most is when anyone accuses a woman of having PMS. Haven't they ever thought that they deserved a good slap in the face, verbally or physically? I hate that.

Watchnstarz you hit the nail on the head with the "Let's do it comment!"  My marriage has been on the rocks for a few years and that's his solution.  How fricking romantic, even if we weren't on the rocks.

People who talk loud so everyone within a 5 mile radius can hear your conversation which goes along with

Having to be the center of attention even if you don't know what you are talking about.

Men who think they know what women are going through/feeling (Tom Cruise big example here and male OB/GYN's)

People who live like pigs and let their crap spill out on their yard

Tailgating, get off my ass already, or at least intruduce yourself!

Not being able to charge the doctor for your time.  If you spend 3 hours waiting to see them for your previously scheduled appointment,  you should be able to bill it back.

Yeah, I can see how this list could go on forever.  Great topic!

4. People who ALWAYS have to be the center of attention.


5. When a person who knows somebody that has been through everything. Whatever you are talking about, they know somebody who’s been through it. You are talking about flying a space ship, and they know somebody who’s done it. Shut up, you don’t know that many people.


6. The line “at my last company…(eg: we did things this way)”…guess what, you aren’t at your last company! If it was so great, why aren’t you still there?

 

I can go on and on, but I think yall get the point. LOL.

The only thing I would add is people talking on their cell phone while at a register and the reverse the cashier talking to someone else in the store while she's or he is ringing up your purchase.

ME TOO!!!  On the 1st one, this drives me crazy-I will answer you when I can, let me be for a sec!! On the second one, or when they yell "WHAT MOM !?!!" in that irritated tone!

I had a boss who did this all the time! Drove me nuts (pun intended LOL!). In their defense however, I believe the 2 little men back there get caught in between the pants and their leg, like if they're wearing regular boxers or worse, nothing (I could be wrong). So you guys who are constantly having this problem, wouldn't briefs fix this??

LOL...well at least I know that I'm not just a bad mother, because that irritates me.  Then I have to call him several times before he will come see what I want...or say "let me finish this round on my game, and then I'll be in there."...WTF...let me tell him that, and he's livid! LOL

My current male boss does that ALL the time, and it drives me nuts too...and then wants to shake someones hand...all I can think is 'no don't do it, you don't know what he was just doing with that hand.' LOL....

oh yes, the one who has to have it worse than EVERYBODY. I haven't been feeling well, and my aunt asked how I was feeling..I told her I wasn't 100% that my stomach still hurt real bad...she goes on to tell me about every health issues she had, has and will ever had. And how her stomach hurts too...and she has a migraine...and she got this issue and that issue...Heck after hearing all that I didn't feel the need to complain about my pains anymore. I was like why ask...if you wanted to really tell me all your issues. LOL....

Antoinette, you are on a roll today. Pun intended: Who would have thought that your your sweet self had so many pet peeves?

We are who we are, but I think we are a great group of women.

And I'm sure it's stuff I do that aggravate people too.
