Edit feature is gone from postings!

Posted 3 months ago I notice that the "edit" feature has disappeared from the postings in the blogs. I used it a lot to edit my postings for grammar, spelling, and propriety. Now all I see is a delete feature. Wish we were still allowed to edit our own postings. Any chance of bringing it back? |

| Posted 3 months ago Maddie- I checked a few of my previous posts and I still see an "edit" option. Are you not seeing it in forum postings, comments, somewhere else? Korina Anja |

| Posted 3 months ago I tried to edit or delete a item I posted in the news area that did not load properly and I couldn't do anything but leave it there. Maddie helped me by just giving out the link. I hope this can be resolved. | Posted 3 months ago I edit my posts for the same reason as Maddie. If I type too fast, my arthritic hands make mistakes. As a former teacher, I do not like to leave my posts unedited. Lately, I transfer the post to a Word document to edit before I submit it. That is a pain, and I wish we had a spell/grammar check in the tool bar on this site. |

| Posted 3 months ago As Gilda Radner used to say on "Saturday Night Live," "never mind."
Was not seeing it on my new posts yesterday but it's on them today. Maybe a little delayed reaction. Sorry. |

| Posted 3 months ago Either way- I think stgreg11 brought up an excellent point- spell/grammar check! I am a horrific speller (I blame it on my parents, genetics and English as a Second Language for my mother... weak point, I know), and keep word open while posting to check spellings I am unsure of! Tedious, but it works. However, to have a spell check option would be wonderful! Thanks for starting this conversation Maddie! Korina Anja |

| Posted 3 months ago Hmm I am not having that issue -- I still see the "edit" option... |

| Posted 3 months ago I cannot seem to reproduce the problem myself. Maddie and others -- can you confirm whether or not you're still having this issue? Daniela

| Posted 3 months ago I, too am seeing edit options on older threads but none on today's. My problem is I'm always in a hurry so I blurt things out. Later I go back read other posts and when I see my own, I think OMG - that is SO easy to misinterpret! I'd better clarify. Truth is, not having the edit option anymore will make me a more conscientious contributor from the start - and that's a good thing. "There is no old age. There is, as there always was, just you." | Posted 2 months ago Have ya'll noticed that the "add a friend" feature is not on our profile page right now? Hmmmm "What you do for yourself - any gesture of kindness, any gesture of gentleness, any gesture of honesty and clear seeing toward yourself - will affect how you experience your world. In fact, it will transform how you experience the world. What you do for yourself, you're doing for others, and what you do for others, you're doing for yourself." |

| Posted 2 months ago I'm not having any of these problems, but my outstanding friend invitations are still not showing. |
