Posted 3 months ago Just went to the vet yesterday for my dog Bailey who has been acting funny...turns out he is fine (whew!) It got me thinking about how important he really is to me and my family. We've had him for 10 years and I can't imagine him not being around. Do you have a pets? How old? What kind? How did you come about adopting / buying? What makes them special to you?

We have two dogs, a sheperd (Todd) and a chocolate lab (Dumpster) and we have two cats, on inside (Sookie) and our outside cat is 18 years (Cinnamon). Jean Bentley

| Posted 3 months ago I have a four year old boxer named Dee Dee. She is a mix of love, lap dog (!) and terrific playmate. She is our second boxer; we got the first on a recommendation from my father that boxers were really patient with small children. (Turns out to be true with ours, at least.) Jane G. Chambers

| Posted 3 months ago We have 2 dogs; Ivan is a Chihuahua who's about 2 1/2 now - he's about 12 pounds, so bigger than what you'd expect - he's loves to cuddle and out of our two dogs, he is the 'leader'. Behind us, of course. Elli is our 2nd dog, she just turned 1 last month and she is a Doberman. If anyone knows anything about Dobies, they are extremely lovey dogs that attach to you like velcro - literally. Anywhere in the house we go, she goes. She's a big, protective baby, who wishes she were a lap dog, but she's a way too big for that now. |

| Posted 2 months ago We have two boys. Darby our first son who is a purebred Pembroke Welsh Corgi that we got from a pet store in December of 2006 and then Cosmo who is a rescue dog. We think he is a Border Terrier/Airedale mix. Looks like a Border has the legs of an Airedale. We got him September of 2007. Darby just turned 2 and Cosmo is a little over a year old. |

| Posted 2 months ago we have a chow/lab mix( Bear) He is as dumb as a box of rocks but soooo sweet! we also have a cat named Saphire! I think she is trying to populate the intire woods. Every time I take her to get fixed she is pregnant! this year she has had 10 kittens! we managed to find a home for one....but now we have Paige, Precious, Lil Fella, Brenda Lee and the rest are unnamed cuties....anyone want a kitten....lol. We also have a ferret. Her name is Ferrasees. dont know if thats how to spell it but thats how it sounds. She is so funny! She likes to hide in my husbands shoes! Even though we are over run by cats it seems I would not trade any of them.....They are all my babies! Majestic Service
