I got hooked on this author's books about 30 years ago.  My most favorite one is "Journey To Yesterday" and it's sequel "Return To Yesterday" if you like historical, time travel, romance this is the series for you.  I understand that she has 5 manuscripts ready to be published but her publisher is being cautious due to her health.  Her daughter has asked her fans to flood her with letters so they can prove to the publisher that her mind is still sharp and her fans want more.

You can send her a letter or card at:

I was trying to find a picture of the books to do a review when I found out this information.  I still can't find any pictures of the books, but believe me they are 5 star!

I received a hand written note from June.  She is not in the best of health but she has 3 complete manuscripts and more she is working on, but her agent seems to feel her career is done.  June has asked if there are fans out there of her series and would like to see these manuscripts published to contact her publisher.

June knows she will never leave the nursing home but her mind is sharp and her career is definitely not over.  I am glad I am getting to know her and I hope when I am her age I am still sharp and have fans willing to help out.

Hi my name is Braxton Shiplett, June is my grandmother.

I found this thread on a search.

The family is in the process of selling her house and i managed to get digital copies of her manuscipts.

If anyone is a publisher or knows anyone who would be interested in at least taking a look at the manuscripts, it would be great.

I would love to get one more of her books published for her before she passes on.

You can contact me at braxtonshiplett@adelphia.net

thanks.
