I think reading a book always the best than watching a movie. It is a really good book and I enjoyed reading the mystery most. This book tells you in details the most and I wish that should be showed a bit more in the movie when I saw few years ago.

This book gets you reading and reading....can't put it down. Wrtitten in such a way where fiction and history entertwined. It makes it real and true. But it is not...i don't think...could it be?!?!
Yes, the book is far greater than the movie. Don't waste your time on the movie. Instead read the other less popular books of Dan Brown. They are good too.

I know Tom was in this. But just was not my favorite one of him. Its just to much to watch.

Lives up to hype. Definitely a page turner from start to finish.

I felt that this book was definitely a page turner; easily a book that could be read more than once. I enjoyed learning about religious symbolism through main character Robert Langdon. I also loved the fact that author Dan Brown added the element of mystery to the story. I also liked the theme of science vs. the Catholic Church. I would also recommend the book Angels and Demons (have similar themes but still an enjoyable read). I agree that the movie was not as good as the book but still very enjoyable to watch (think it's very difficult for Tom Hanks to give a bad performance).

I loved this book! I'm usually disappointed in books that get a lot of hype because I feel they don't live up to expectations but this one did. Very Fast reading. Dan Brown has a technique of ending each chapter so that you just have to read a few more pages. LOL! I found the religious symbolism very interesting. I agree with other posters that the book was much superior to the movie. So much happens in the character's head that it didn't translate well to the screen. However, I hear that a film of Angels and Demons is in the works with Tom Hanks in the lead again.

This was a great book- I love how he uses true facts from history and makes it feasible that they could mean other things. I didn't want to stop reading this one! I even went to get his other books to see if they were as good! I'd read it again.

This book is amazing. I watched the movie but as usual the book goes into more detail. My mom got me this one and I have read it twice!!! Dan Brown is awesome.

This was such a good book. I generally don't really read action/mystery-type books, but this one was definitely a great read. Plus, when you're done reading it, you just feel smarter! LOL
