The customer service of Verizon (for DSL and getting a home telephone) are the same. Their 1-800-numbers lead you in endless loops, where you rarely get to talk to a human. If you are one of the few lucky ones that do, you'll be lucky if they don't hang up on you or transfer you to a different department "because it is not their job".

While the people in the kiosks and buildings are generally nice, the oganisation of this company is not good at all for helping customers out.
