I travel frequently, and although I have done so for close to 20 years, I still get uneasy flying, especially where there is bad weather, or if the plane is overly full. These Bose noise cancelling headphones have quite literally transformed my travel experience in a positive way. Not only can I use them with my video iPod, but they really do reduce the amount of noise you hear on a plane flight - while still allowing you to hear the "speaking voice" frequency (you won't miss a flight attendant announcing that the movie is about to begin!) They are fairly pricey - around $300 - but they are SO worth the price.
