| Description: | This Japanese-style santoku is deftly proportioned to do the work of a chef’s knife and a cleaver, and is ideal for precision tasks like mincing and paper-thin slicing. Shallow depressions in the blade create air pockets that keep foods from sticking. The blade is forged from a high-carbon steel alloy that holds a razor-sharp edge and resists stains, rust and corrosion. To ensure perfect balance, the blade has a full tang extending to the end of the handle. The high-impact polypropylene handle is triple riveted to the blade. This professional-quality knife is produced by Wüsthof in the renowned cutlery center of Solingen, Germany. Hand-wash. Available with a 5" or 7" long blade. |
I researched many different brands of fine knives before settling on Wusthof. This particular knife is fantastic for chopping vegetables. I highly recommend it.
