Description:

The summer of 1963 innocent 17-year-old Baby (Grey) vacations with her parents at a Catskill's resort. One evening she is drawn to the staff quarters by stirring music. There she meets Johnny, the hotel dance instructor, who is as experienced as Baby is naive. Baby soon becomes Johnny's pupil in dance and love.

    One of the bes soundtracks ever, the dancing is amazing but the acting is terrible. I have watched it many times for the music and dancing, I got over the bad acting a while ago. Jerry Orbach (sp?) is the only good actor in the entire flick.

    one of the cutest musical movies ever made, deserves its place in musicals and hold its own...kinda outdated for the 2000's but well worth the music, acting and dancing performances...for those into musicals you wont be disappointed...

    This movie will always be a classic. Any girl watching this movie wanted to be Baby. The dancing was unbelievable. What more can say?!

    The memory of the night my cousins and I sneaked into the T.V room to watch this movie against my aunt's wish is still fresh in my mind. The soundtracks, dance moves, the script; just awesome!!!!. I have watched it many times since then and most recently with my little daughter who is trying to do some of those dance moves.
