Wine Tasting
Angie Toussaint (Meeting & Event Planner)
December 04, 2008
It's the holidays and I am in the process of planning lots of fun things to do. In addition to that I am excited about my new conference room where magical events will take place.
So, I'm putting together a wine tasting event and this is a first for me, so I'd like to share what I've learned thus far.
I've learned that this is a great way to bring family and friends together. So I've selected the types of wines. I must have been a conoseur in my past life because I know a lot about various types of wine and I don't even drink! Go figure.
So I have ordered German Wines, Italian Wines, California Wines and Australian Wines. So i'm covered there. I am also going to purchase lots of bread for the tasters. This is used in between tastings to clean the palet.
I'm also going to have hors devours for after the tasting so people can sit down and and drink wine with the foods that compliment.
Once my guests arrive, they will be give their wine glasses, pen and paper. During the tasting they will rate the wines and write notes and share dialogue with table members.
I'm looking forward to a fantastic event on December 18th.
