- About Me:
- I am a 65 year old man, very happily married to the most wonderful woman I've ever known. We've been madly in love with each other since 1961. Our love has matured like fine wine. I do all the housework, cooking, shopping and the laundry. I do it because my wife was stricken with Alzheimer's 10 years ago. About 6 years ago, she had a stroke. She is now totally incapacitated and bedridden. I am her primary care giver, as I would NEVER place her into a nursing home. Not going to happen. After what I've seen in some of these places of misery, I could never put her through that. I know some may ask, do I get depressed doing what I do? No, I can't let it get the best of me otherwise I'd be in no shape to care for her. I will admit that I do have my days that I just break down and cry. I guess it's an outlet for me, I feel better after a good cry. At the present time, I am rewriting my book on our lives together. I am a diabetic, have a defibrillator in my chest, and two stents in my arteries. I take very good care of myself health wise. I have to. My hobby was flying planes, but now that I have a defibrillator, my wings have been clipped. That's alright, I adapt very easily to change. I'm an easy going, laid back, funny and comical person. Comedy keeps me sane, otherwise I'd be insane in the membrane.
- Hobbies:
- Reading, Cooking, Traveling, Writing, Performing Arts, Creative Arts, Yoga / Pilates, Music
- Favorite Movies:
- The Sound of Music, The Ten Commandments
- Favorite TV Shows:
- Anything with substance such as documentaries, history and science. Reality TV shows are a total waste. I find these shows beneath my dignity and level of intelligence. Same goes for supermarket tabloids. All garbage.
- Favorite Music:
- Jazz, the blues, Broadway Show Tunes, the standards such as Frank Sinatra, Mel Torme et al. Rap and hip hop is pure garbage as far as I'm concerned. Anyone can get on a stage and imitat a chimpanzee.

Dear Sherrie,
Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a great deal to me. As for the love we have for each other, I really don't think it's anything of a big deal. Her and I have always dealt with love in all its forms.
As for our vows, oh yes, they come straight from the heart, and you're right, a lot of that is missing in today's world. Such a shame.
Anytime you happen to be in this neck of the woods, you are welcome in my house for supper, and ,yes, you can give all the hugs you want. My wonderful wife and I were brought up on hugs.

I am absolutely blown away by the love you two have for each other. I admire you so much. It shows what type of commited man you are-when you said for better or worse, you meant it. That is almost non-existant in today's world. I wish I could give you two a great big hug! Thank you for being my friend.
