So far I like the job. :-) There are flex hours so I can get to work as early as 5:30 a.m. if I wanted to. I work nine-hour days except for Fridays, because we only have to work five. It is nice that I get to leave work at noon on Fridays or earlier if I get there by 6:30. ;-) I get weekends off, paid holidays, and health insurance. Everyone is nice and helpful. So far my supervisor is happy with my progress. Soooo all is well with me! :-)
So you still like your job. I am glad to hear that people are nice. I wish you well! Keep in touch.

I just found out that I got a job! I will be making surgical instruments. I know that sounds strange but I have some experience making small scissors for eye surgery. I don't start until Monday and I am a little apprehensive. This is a REAL job...very scary. :-) I hope I like the company and the job that I will be doing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed just in case.

I’m glad that the job is working out. :-) I hope your kids are doing well and are adjusting to your new job hours. You are probably right about not needing certification. Right now I am waiting to see if I will be offered a job from a company that makes surgical instruments. The only problem is that I had to interview with three different people and one guy was rude to me. If I get the job then I guess I will take it because at this point I need money. Hopefully I won’t have to deal with the rude person too much. Having my own business keeps sounding better and better, because I would not have to deal with a company that does not care about their employees. It would be nice if I had an Internet based business. It seems that more and more people are buying items off the Internet rather than driving to stores. Well, things will work out for me in the end. :-)

My emphasis is in photography, but I do paint and draw. I also do sculpture but I don't have a lot of experience in 3D art. I've always wanted a business of my own, but I'm not sure I could work with children. I have wondered if I have to be certified to be able to teach children? Anyway, having my own business in not feasible right now because I lack the money to start one. I've read that your business will be more likely to succeed if you are able to invest some money into you company. I wish I could think of a service that would be needed and that I would do well at. Hmmmm...it's really hard for me to make a decision. Hahha! :-) I know scrap booking is popular but I've never done it myself. Missouri is not best known for the best jobs. I really don't want to move away because my family lives close by. They are my support system and I don't want to miss out on spending time with my niece either. She is adorable! She’s extra special because she is the first grandchild for my parents.

I am glad you were offered a job so quickly even if the hours are not that great. I am sure you will figure some way to make things work for you and your family. I would always keep my eyes and ears open for a chance at better hours and job. At least you will be getting experience out of taking the offer. I'm trying to look on the bright side of things...Hehe. :-) It can be hard to look on the bright side sometimes, but I can sure give it a shot! LOL(Laughing Out Loud)! It may be hard at times because of not having as much time with your family but there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. I believe something even better will come along; you just have to be patient. And I know for a fact that that is not always easy.
I am still without a job and I am having trouble knowing what job will work for me. I enjoy art but I really don't like a lot of the people that come with being in that field. I am hoping something with come my way soon.
