About Me:
I am ever negotiating the transition from victim advoacy to higher education- miss advocacy but I truly love my new postion. I have fabulous friends who keep me just crazy enough to be interesting. Hi Korina. Thanks for the link to Leading Women. I wanted to attend an event in June that I believe they held (Gender Communication in the Workplace?) but I was unable to make it. Maybe there'll be one coming up that piques my interest again and that I can fit into my schedule around school. Yikes, am I really going back to school so soon? Where's my sunblock?

Check out the video about the Olympic family. I'm sure you've probably heard about them.

Yay! The boy from Texas called Joshua won!!! :) :) I was rather shocked when Katee got bumped but it was really nice to see that someone with very little to no formal training actually won! Loved it. It was a great way to end the show. I'm looking forward to the next season. My fiance' who never had an appreciation for dance before this show is also looking forward to the next season!

Hey K. I'm really loving that "realizing the feminism within" thread and just posted another reply to something you've said. You're a gem. Thanks for our friendship. Paula

I enjoyed the entire show last night. I must admit though that I think Katee is my favorite. Not my absolute favorite but my favorite. Joshus is just AMAZING! I'm floored by the fact that he hasn't had any technical or formal training. Some people are just meant to do certain things. I wasn't too thrilled with the final performance, I think I was expecting more. Just a few more hours and we'll find out who the winner will be! So exciting.

You got it. I guess that he had to point it out. That's the point of having judges. But he did acknowledge that they were exhaused. This show is getting to be almost as big as American Idol in my book. Nigel is part of both-he's probably rolling in the dough. And what do you think about Kat Deeley? I think she is an integral part of the show!

Hey Kar, what did you think of last night's SYTYCD? Did you like the end routine by Mia Michaels? Who do you think will win tonight? :)

I love diners, too! Especially since doing the show. I've left PBS (it was only a temporary position) and am job hunting now for work as a speaker/writer/workshop leader. It sounds like you love your work, too. That is so important. Do you ever speak or hold workshops for the public?
