Hey, how's the house hunting going? Did you buy one? Are you still sane? (wait, were you to begin with?) I've been busy with a heavy workload, and am trying to catch up.

Respectforall, I know that you're busy, so you may not be able to do this, but I would like to invite you to take part in a book that we're doing. The group "womenco authors and writers" is putting together a collective book written by all the members of womenco who want to participate. The details are in the topic "a book by us". We are planning to have it done by the end of the year, so you have plenty of time. Each person is being asked to contribute some little item, even if it's just a paragraph, and the finished product will be sold on etsy and/or ebay shops so that the money can go to the national domestic violence organization in both of our countries. I'm inviting men to take part for the reason that domestic violence affects men, too. They aren't just perpetrators, they're also victims. And the impact on their families can be devastating. So, I think everyone should be given the chance to take part. You've always made some really awesome contributions to this site, so I think you would have some insightful things to add to the project. The goal is to be done by the end of December, but if it doesn't get done by then, we'll get it done as soon as we can. Is that enough time? Would you like to do it?

you really did it! You are fantastic!!! I love that sense of humour! And from a bloke in automotive, yet. Fear not, your secret is safe with me! Let's see, where is that Arlington phone book? And what's the time difference??

I used to live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Two things amazed me. One, how much it didn't feel like a big city. Ft. Worth felt like a small town to me. Quiet and easy paced. The second thing that amazed me was that anybody survived driving through town. There were always all of those road works, and that snake-like road through town, the highway, wasn't that 35? With the bridges, and the speed limit was 35 but everyone did 80. I had to hold on tight to the wheel and go for it whenever I came that way. I was there the year they passed that law that you could get a ticket for doing the speed limit because you were impeding traffic. Shoot, I figured out the first time I drove through there that if I didn't put the foot down, somebody was gonna get killed! But there were alot of fun things there.
