Good Evening Ladies,
I have a question. Are you having a difficult time making ends meet?
I have been working , but not steadily. My biggest expense is housing.
My children are in their 30's and I only have to support myself and
my beloved dog, but it is tough. Is anyone else dealing with the same
type of problem? The reason I ask, is because I have been toying
with an idea. I recently spoke to a friend who's daughter is in re-hab
and she has been doing fantastic. My friend told me that she lives
in a house with other women, everyone has their own bedroom
and there are numerous bathrooms and a very large community
kitchen. She pays $50. a week for her room, and of course, she
buys her food. It made me start thinking that possibly the same
type of situation could be done for single working women. Of
course their would have to be rules that everyone would adhere
to, and the rent would be quite a bit more than $50. a week, but
I think this could be a great way to live until each person was
able to get on their feet financially. We would all have the same
goal in common, the ability to support ourselves very comfortably.
I know that all involved would have to sit down and hammer out
numerous decisions, and agreements. This could also be done
with women who have children. In that case there could be one
women that would take care of the children while the Mother's
are at work, and instead of paying big time babysitting fees, you
could give her a small agreed upon amount of cash, but pay for
her room. She would have free rent and cash in her pocket every
day.
Would love any and all input.
Thank you, Nikki G.
