About Me:
I was an LPN for 20 yrs, disabled past 4 1/2 because of Fibromyalgia. It is a terrible disease. I applied for Social Security disability a couple years ago and am still waiting for a hearing. I am going to attempt going back to school for medical coding and billing, it is something I can do from home at my own pace if SSD doesn't get approved. It will be hard with my physical limitations, but I have a 12 yr old daughter to take care of. We live with my mother who recently retired. I am divorced and single again after a bad 8 yr relationship. It is going to take a bit of healing to get over that one.

Writing, Creative Arts, jewelry making and now I am trying to learn beading. watercolor painting (not very good but I like it), and a lot of other crafts

    A small bit about Fibromyalgia...

    The most common fibromyalgia symptom is pain - extreme and widespread pain - felt all over the body. Sufferers describe their fibromyalgia symptoms as pain that is 'sharp', deep' or 'throbbing'. Many have tender points on the body that are painful when pressed. In fact ,doctors can recognise18 tender points that are fibromyalgia symptoms and if they find 11, they are likely to diagnose you with fibromyalgia.

    Another fibromyalgia symptom is crippling and constant fatigue, even after a full night's sleep. Other common fibromyalgia symptoms include: sleep problems; morning stiffness; anxiety; depression; headaches; and swelling, numbness and tingling in hands, arms, legs and feet. Be aware that fibromyalgia can occur by itself or with one of the many other types of arthritis, especially rheumatoid arthritis.
