Leadership is lacking and advancement based many times on seniority and being male...women in the engineering and mid-level lead positions are a rarity
Yahoo was a great place to work, culture-wise, but it has its obvious leadership setbacks and it seems to be a be a sinking ship.
Helps if you someone. They aren't above nepotism.
Yahoo's leadership seems is very persistent and wants to get ahead. This sets a good and motivating tone for the company.
Keep in mind that Yahoo is in a little bit of catch-up mode. But it's still ok.
